A good friend of mine was in the original 'insurge; I guess.. when they were the called 'The Prostitutes' ...they got a $100 000 to record...which they did...then the singer decided that was selling out and quit...a year later he reformed as insurge.....and sold out.

Hey all, I was searching Google for Insurge' predecessor, The Prostitutes, and found this forum. I remember there was an Australia music site that sold one of their EPs, but I can't seem to find URL. I was wondering if anyone here can tell me how I can get a hold of any of The Prostitutes' releases (albums/EPs/demos)?

I'm definitely a big fan of all the dark electronic sub-genres (I'm also in a couple of local Brissy groups www.myspace.com/daisband and www.myspace.com/dreadtrench), so I'll be posting here more regularly I think. smile

Still the best industrial-hardcore imo. Anybody heard anything more from KoC? He seemed to just disappear off the face of the earth after making that split EP. : /

I like any sort of music depending on my mood. While in intoxication state of mind I like rock music. Early in the morning I like hymn, In the mid day I like pop music and finally in the evening I like contemporary melodious music. I like East Brunswick All Girls Choir, they're kind of heavy folk with occasional noisey elements. Doubt anyone on this forum would be into that shit though. Marcus from them used to play for the for now disbanded Bang!Bang!Aids! who are one of my favourite bands of all time.

I saw Hard Hat on Saturday as part of the Biennale, and they were fucking awesome. Kusum Normoyle of Hard Hat is doing a show on the 29th of this month which I'm gonna try to be at.
